Tanya Mallavarapu Reddy was born in Bengaluru and set up her Chennai-based interior design practice in 2019. Formally educated in Business and Economics, her foray into design began when she worked with a team of architects building the Apollo Proton Cancer Centre in Chennai. Its spaces, greenery and art uplifted the patients and profoundly impacted their recovery. Struck with the realisation that spaces can transform feelings, enhance a sense of well-being and mood, and bring comfort and joy, she enrolled into a Diploma in Interior Design from Parsons, New York and has found her Calling since, in creating interiors that nurtures human experiences.

Tanya creates timeless spaces that are an alchemy of volume, texture, light and colour. A strong proponent of Indian craftsmanship, she reinterprets this to have a contemporary design sensibility. Her love for travel has honed her eye as she has explored museums, temples, churches, art shows, and even antique markets worldwide, resulting in a versatile sensibility in art, antiques and crafts, marrying the traditional and modern effortlessly.
